Squarespace Templates
The visual appearance and usability of your website or blog can be a deciding factor for web users to stay and engage themselves or bounce and leave for another destination. Content is king and key to building an audience; however, if the UI and UX is poor, you will lose a potential fan.
Squarespace users will be interested to know that they can change the design of their website or blog by selecting from over 60 Squarespace templates created by brand name designers. Though, these are just templates; Squarespace has designed itself to allow you to completely customize any of the Squarespace templates to your liking. With a click of the mouse, you can change each and every element of the templates: layout, color, style, size, shape, and more.
We have reviewed this functionality and think that it is quite cool. Novice site developers and bloggers can customize their templates on Squarespace without knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other coding languages.
It is that simple to change your Squarespace template from 1,2, or 3 columns, alter the navigation, add drop downs and more. Call off the developers and web designers. You can do it all yourself. We have had friends and family, who have no previous experience building a site, construct a blog in a few hours (their Squarespace reviews will appear on the site when we get around to it).
Developers and more experienced users familiar with CSS, you can “pop the hood” and get dirty into the code of each template and control every module and facet.
Read our honest reviews of each individual Squarespace template to get a better learning and understanding of Squarespace’s product. As new templates are released, be sure to check back and hear our two cents worth.
